Connect Meta

Connect Facebook and Instagram, check available pages, and understand required permissions.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Short answer

The Meta connection lets AdSpark publish approved content to a Facebook Page and, when available, the linked Instagram Business account. A connected Meta account is not always enough: a publishable page or Instagram account must also be available.

Facebook Page

AdSpark reads available pages and marks Facebook ready when a publishable page is accessible.

Instagram Business

Instagram becomes ready when a professional account is linked to the selected Facebook Page.

Publish after review

Social content still needs review in the editor before publishing or scheduling.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Meta, check that you have access to the Facebook Page and that the expected Instagram account is a professional account linked to that page.

Page access

Without page access, AdSpark can connect Meta but still show an action required state.

Linked Instagram

If no Instagram Business account is linked, the Instagram channel remains unresolved.

Permissions

Publishing, page reading and Instagram publishing permissions may need renewal if Meta refuses or expires them.

Configure it in AdSpark

In Settings > Channels, the Facebook & Instagram card shows three steps: authorize Meta, check Facebook Page, check Instagram Business.

Authorize Meta

The button opens the Meta OAuth flow. The token is then stored server-side, not exposed in the final URL.

Check destination

If several pages are available, verify the displayed account label before publishing.

Renew

If a permission is missing or a token has expired, restart the connection from the Meta card.

Publish from a campaign

The editor treats Facebook and Instagram as separate channels. You can adjust copy, image and status per channel before sending, publishing, copying or scheduling.

Facebook

The post can use the text and image attached to the Facebook channel.

Instagram

Instagram needs an eligible Business account; if it is not ready, AdSpark keeps the content as a draft or asks for a connection action.

Publish failure

Permission, destination or token errors should be resolved in Channels before retrying.
