Connect email
Choose Gmail or SMTP, verify the sending address, and understand what actually sends from AdSpark.
Short answer
The Email channel is ready when AdSpark has an active sender: Gmail with send permission, or external SMTP such as Brevo, Mailjet, SendGrid, or your own server. The connection sends approved emails from the editor; it is not a full replacement for your email platform.
Gmail
Best when you send lightly and want to use your regular Google address.
External SMTP
Useful when your business already uses Brevo, Mailjet, SendGrid, or a configured email domain.
Without a connection
The email draft can still be prepared, but direct sending requires a connected channel or manual copy/export.
What AdSpark asks for
For Gmail, AdSpark asks for permission to send email. It does not read your inbox for this channel. For SMTP, credentials are verified before saving and stored server-side in encrypted form.
Gmail permission
The channel becomes ready when the Google account includes the `gmail.send` permission.
SMTP credentials
Host, port, security, username, password, from address and reply-to can be configured.
Test email
You can send a test during SMTP setup to check that the server accepts the message.
Configure it in AdSpark
Open Settings > Channels, then choose Email. The Email card shows Gmail status and, when SMTP exists, the active provider and sender address.
Choose a provider
Gmail, Brevo, custom SMTP, Mailjet and SendGrid are available in the current interface.
Save or disconnect
Gmail and SMTP can be renewed or disconnected from the channel card.
Ready state
The channel overview treats Email as ready if either Gmail or external SMTP is ready.
Use email in a campaign
In the editor, AdSpark prepares a subject, preheader and email body. You review the content, choose recipients when the flow asks for them, then send or schedule depending on channel state.
Human approval
The email does not send when the Spark is generated: it sends after your action in the editor or planning.
Contacts
Contacts and groups help prepare the audience, but imports and list quality still need review before sending.
Tracking
Stats depend on the sending mode and collected data; manual copy does not report the same signals.
