Connect Google Business

Authorize Google Business, select a location, and publish local posts from approved campaigns.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Short answer

The Google Business channel publishes a local post to an authorized Google Business Profile. The channel is ready only after Google authorization and selection of a usable location.

Google account

The account must have access to the business profile you want to use.

Selected location

AdSpark syncs available locations and needs to know the active destination.

Local post

Google Business content is sent as a clear local update, with a call to action when the flow provides one.

Prerequisites

Before connecting, check that the Google Business Profile exists, is accessible from the Google account you use, and can be managed by you.

Business permission

AdSpark asks for the `business.manage` permission to access Google Business accounts and locations.

Missing location

If no location is accessible, the channel stays pending and AdSpark cannot publish.

Token renewal

If Google asks for a new connection, restart the flow from Settings > Channels.

Configure it in AdSpark

The Google Business card shows authorization and selection. If permission is granted but no location is selected, the status shows an action required state.

Authorize

The Google OAuth flow returns to channel settings once permission is granted.

Sync

AdSpark can sync the Google Business accounts and locations available to the account.

Active destination

A campaign publishes to the active Google Business destination for the relevant market or brand.

Publish from a campaign

In the editor, the Google Business channel uses the local post field. Direct publishing calls Google Business only if the channel is ready and the destination is valid.

Approval before publish

Like every channel, Google Business does not publish when the Spark is generated.

Content limit

The post sent to Google is a summary up to 1500 characters in the current flow.

Troubleshooting

Common issues are missing permission, missing location, inactive destination or a Google account that must be reconnected.
